Kylie Class of 2012 ~ Lake Geneva, WI

Kylie is entering her senior year at an academically inclined college-preparatory high school in the Chicago area. She is purely a joy to spend time with! She's funny, she's sweet, and yet she has a gentle calm strength about her... (not to mention beautiful!) - She's got it all going for her! :)  I feel that I not only captured but was really able to capitalize on these qualities during her session and can't wait to share more!

I really liked Kylie's favorite quote and it fits her so well:  "Be a best friend.  Tell the truth and over use 'I love you.'  Go to work, do your best, and don't outsmart your common sense.  Never let your praying knees get lazy and love like crazy."

Something else that makes Kylie special is that though her entire family has all gone to Notre Dame she aspires to forge a new path in hopes to attend Vanderbilt University in Nashville.  She's such a smart girl - I have no doubt that she'll achieve her dreams, be everything she aspires to be, and so much more. 

This is the second senior shoot I've done for this family... Kylie's mom, who as a result of working with her last year, has become a dear friend to me and a kindred spirit.  I had just photographed a wedding in Lake Geneva and was facebooking about it when she commented to let me know they have a summer home in the area and we were in the same town!  What a small world!  She had just been contacting me a few weeks earlier trying to see how we could fly me out to do Kylie's senior pictures soon.  We were still trying to nail down dates that work for both of us...  I had no idea we were going to be so close!  Goes to show how intimately involved God is in orchestrating details in our lives behind the scenes.
